Northern Rivers

Timebanking Northern Rivers is a new program for all members of the community to connect to one another to share skills, build networks and social capital in our region. Our aim is to promote a sense of community spirit through the joy of giving and receiving.

Timebanking supports people to exchange skills, services and support. It’s as simple as give an hour, receive an hour: by giving one hour to helping another member, you earn one hour of time credits which can be used to receive services that are of personal value such as dog walking, ironing, community gardening, massage, language tuition, painting, administrative assistance... you're only restricted by your imagination.

Everyone can be a part of Timebanking, we encourage residents of the Northern Rivers think about becoming involved. We all have something to give, we all have needs or we might know of someone who could do with a helping hand.

For additional information or assistance, please feel free to contact Northern Rivers Community Gateway on 6621-7397 or Mark on Thursdays at Ability Links on 0437 996 486. You can also contact us by emailing timebanking@nrcg.org.au
