Volunteer Gardening Positions (Unpublished)

Easy Care Gardening is a not-for-profit organisation. Our clients are people who are older and people with disability. We help our clients by turning their gardens into ones that are "easy care". Our teams weed, mulch and prune the gardens in order to make them safe, tidy and enjoyable.

Would you like to join a gardening team?

We have clients in the local government areas of Hornsby, Hunters Hill, Ku-ring-gai and Ryde. You would volunteer with a team in your local area, on a day that suites you. We have both morning and afternoon shifts available, 6 days per week. Shifts are three hours long - the morning shift runs from 9 am - 12 noon, and afternoon shift runs from 1 pm - 4 pm. All equipment is provided. We will train you on the job and a supervisor will make all the arrangements.

This is a fun and worthwhile volunteering role where you will

  • learn new skills
  • meet new people
  • work in a team
  • get exercise and fresh air

Best of all you will be helping people who are older and people with disability.

We would be very happy to hear from you if you are interested in volunteering with Easy Care Gardening. All of our volunteers are required to undergo a police check and orientation. The minimum time commitment is 30 hours. Further information about our organisation can be found on our website.
